# HOW TO PLAY

X-DIVER is an ocean exploration adventure game built within the Oceanea ecosystem.As a diver, you will travel across different ocean regions, discover marine species, complete missions, build collections, join guilds, and create your own underwater world.Every dive is an opportunity to explore the unknown.

***

## Getting Started

### Create Your Account

Register your Oceanea account and enter the ocean world.Your journey begins in Beginner Waters.New players are encouraged to:

* Complete tutorial missions
* Learn movement controls
* Unlock their first ocean region
* Catch their first fish

***

## Core Gameplay Loop

As you progress, more ocean regions, fish species, and gameplay systems become available.

***

## Ocean Regions

The ocean is divided into multiple exploration zones.Each region contains:

* Unique environments
* Different fish populations
* Hidden discoveries
* Rare species
* Special events

Higher-level regions generally contain more valuable rewards and more dangerous creatures.

***

## Marine Life

The ocean contains a wide variety of marine species waiting to be discovered.Different regions contain different creatures and exploration opportunities.Some species are easier to catch, while others require skill, timing, or cooperation.Certain creatures may become aggressive when approached and can attack divers during exploration.Entering unfamiliar waters without preparation is not recommended.Every discovery contributes to the Ocean Encyclopedia and may also support future guild aquarium collections.

***

## Equipment System

Successful exploration requires the right equipment.

As divers progress through the ocean, stronger equipment becomes essential for reaching deeper waters, capturing larger species, and extending exploration time.

Equipment upgrades improve efficiency and unlock access to more challenging regions.

***

### Harpoon System

The Harpoon is the primary hunting tool used to capture marine species.

Higher-level Harpoons provide:

* Increased attack power
* Faster hunting efficiency
* Improved success rate against larger species
* Better performance in dangerous regions

Some aggressive creatures may require stronger Harpoons to successfully capture.

***

### Oxygen Tank System

The Oxygen Tank determines how long a diver can remain underwater during each expedition.

Higher-level Oxygen Tanks provide:

* Longer dive duration
* Extended exploration range
* Increased deep-sea access capability
* More efficient expedition planning

Managing oxygen is one of the most important aspects of successful exploration.

***

### Storage Box System

The Storage Box determines how much marine life and resources can be carried back during a single dive.

Higher-level Storage Boxes provide:

* Increased carrying capacity
* Greater total catch weight
* More efficient resource collection
* Higher expedition profitability

Divers who frequently explore resource-rich regions benefit significantly from larger storage capacity.

***

### Equipment Progression

As players advance through the game, upgrading equipment becomes increasingly important.

Stronger equipment allows players to:

* Explore deeper waters
* Stay underwater longer
* Capture larger species
* Increase collection efficiency
* Participate in advanced exploration content

Equipment progression forms one of the core growth systems within X-DIVER.

***

## Exploration Preparation

Before entering higher-level regions, divers should ensure their equipment is properly upgraded.

A successful expedition often depends on balancing:

#### Harpoon Level

Determines hunting capability.

#### Oxygen Capacity

Determines exploration duration.

#### Storage Capacity

Determines expedition efficiency.

The best explorers are not always the fastest—they are the ones who prepare most effectively.

***

## Item System

Items help divers survive and perform more effectively underwater.Different items provide different advantages.

***

### Mobility Items

Increase underwater movement efficiency.Examples:

* Swim Speed Boost
* Dash Module
* Current Stabilizer

These items help players reach distant targets more quickly.

***

### Combat Items

Improve hunting and defense capabilities.Examples:

* Harpoon Enhancer
* Damage Boost
* Critical Strike Module

Useful when encountering aggressive species.

***

### Status Items

Provide temporary effects.Examples:

* Attack Buff
* Defense Buff
* Detection Buff
* Resource Boost

Strategic use can significantly improve exploration efficiency.

***

### Ascend Items

Increase upward movement speed.Examples:

* Rapid Ascent Device
* Emergency Lift Booster

Useful when leaving deep-water environments.

***

## Ocean Encyclopedia

Every discovered species is automatically recorded.The Encyclopedia tracks:

* Species discovered
* Species rarity
* Regional distribution
* Collection progress

Completing collections unlocks additional achievements and rewards.

***

## Guild System

The ocean is too vast to explore alone.Guilds allow players to form long-term communities, participate in cooperative activities, and build their own presence within the X-DIVER world.Guilds represent the highest level of social organization in the game.

***

### Unlocking a Guild

* Seasonal performance
* Guild contribution

More active guilds gain higher visibility and additional opportunities within the ecosystem.

***

## Guild Aquarium

### The Heart of Every Guild

Every guild receives access to a Guild Aquarium after creation.The Guild Aquarium serves as both a community showcase and a symbol of guild achievement.Unlike personal collections, the Guild Aquarium belongs to the entire guild.

***
