# Reputation & Contribution System

### Long-Term Reputation Infrastructure

Oceanea is developing a long-term reputation and contribution system that records meaningful participation across the ecosystem.

The framework focuses on cumulative participation over time.

Activities that may contribute to reputation include:

* Ocean exploration
* Marine-species discovery
* Completion of educational content
* Knowledge contributions
* Rescue-mission participation
* Community support
* Content creation and sharing
* Ecosystem collaboration

***

### Reputation Growth

Reputation is designed to reflect a user’s development over time.

As participation deepens, users may gradually unlock:

* Higher reputation levels
* Expanded community participation rights
* Governance influence
* Priority access to activities
* Advanced ecosystem opportunities

The system is intended to recognize sustained contribution and long-term ecosystem involvement.

***

### Community Coordination

The reputation framework is designed to strengthen:

* Community trust
* Ecosystem collaboration
* Long-term participation
* Sustainable contributions

The long-term objective is to create a network in which transparent participation history and contribution recognition continuously reinforce ecosystem value.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://oceanea.gitbook.io/oceanea-litepaper/ecosystem-architecture/reputation-and-contribution-system.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
