# What is Oceanea

Oceanea is a decentralized ocean experience infrastructure network that connects gaming, intelligent hardware, VR experiences, and underwater entertainment into a unified ecosystem.

All experiences are connected through a unified on-chain identity and asset system powered by the Ocean Passport.

Whether users earn achievements in games, generate data through hardware usage, complete VR missions, or unlock real-world privileges, everything accumulates under a single identity and can flow across the entire ecosystem.

As the network expands, Oceanea becomes infrastructure for the global ocean experience industry—connecting explorers, dive operators, equipment providers, content creators, and ecosystem builders through a shared identity and incentive system.

Oceanea is not simply a platform.

It is a network where users become co-builders of the future ocean economy.
